Clark Eriksson has earned
two industry awards which recognise the high quality of its global
operations.
We have gained ISO 9001 - for overall quality management systems - and ISO
14001 for minimising its impact on the environment.
The accreditations were awarded after the company met stringent guidelines
laid down by BSI British Standards.
Scott McMartin of Clark Eriksson said: "The accreditations are a real
endorsement of the kind of processes we have in the business - and our
commitment to sustainable and high quality management practices."
Clark Eriksson boss Jim Toner said: "ISO 9001:2000 confirms our focus on
customers. It promotes training and skills, improves the working environment
and ensure quality products and services."
He added: "Environmental standards such as ISO 14001 offer an excellent
opportunity for firms like us to minimise their environmental impact and
capitalise on greater operational efficiencies. ISO 14001 sets out
continuous improvement as a prerequisite. This means building on the
successes of the past to raise performance."
Mr. Toner said the firm is now subject to regular BSI audits to ensure the
high standards are being maintained.
Mike Low, Director of BSI British Standards, said "There is growing evidence
and opinion that the role of standards is assisting more and more
organisations to raise levels of management, operations, client care and
products."
BSI British Standards is the UK's national standards body, working with
government, business and consumers to represent UK interests and facilitate
the production of British, European and international standards to meet
economic and social needs. For more info, visit
